July 28, 2021: Today, I sit in my studio working up melancholy muses. My youngest sister passed away after a long fight with cancer. My heart cries out. All life eventually comes to this point. How have I lived? Did my life give comfort and hope to others? What can I do? Music is a way to bring healing. Even as I sit here, the chords flowing forth are helping me through deep loss. Soon I will be releasing pieces that have brought peace to my deepest being. Hold on...

December 29, 2019:  As the year comes to a close,  we look at all that has transpired...some good and some sad.  In that, we stand with courage and know that blessings come out of  most everything in life.  Whether it is lessons learned--wisdom, or joy as our Heavenly Father has granted something unexpected.  Music can reflect all the moments that come our way.  May you find in our music a reflection of something in life that has helped you in some way.  We are coming closer to releasing some amazing pieces that we hope you will revel in.

March 7, 2018:  The last two years have been full of life's sorrows and blessings.  I cannot describe the sorrow in the loss of loved ones, but it is great.  It stifles creativity for a time, but it also gives you a picture of what really matters in life.  As this season progresses, my family and I are working on releasing what I feel are works of the soul--works that bring you through the stages of healing as we travel life's journey.  I hope that you will wait with anticipation as we finalize our latest works.

This past June, my wife and I, along with two of our sons, trekked into the Alpine Lakes Wilderness to celebrate our lives together.  There, I serenaded my wife with a composition of love and commitment.  It was our 38th anniversary.  What a blessing to have the love of my life before me as I sang to her of my love.  Soon, this song will be shared with others as an encouragement in a world where faithfulness is waning.

Believe me, it takes commitment to make a good recording...

We have been bombarded by snow, so off we go....

December 1, 2015:  We will be sharing our music at the local Journey to Bethlehem on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 5:45 PM and again on Saturday at 5:00 PM.  Each time is a 30 minute slot.  We hope to see you there!  Directions are in our Calendar of Events.

November 19, 2015:  Having lost my dad in August and nearly lost my mom this week,  I am hoping that all of you are caring about your parents in very real ways.  This Thanksgiving, take time to tell your mom and dad or other loved ones that you care. Let them know how grateful you are for all that they did for you.  I am working on a new piece that I am dedicating to the memory of my dad.  He was a man that suffered from a heart defect.  He did not let that keep him from striving to support his family.  He did not always make the best choices in life, partly due to a lack of oxygen nourishing his brain, but I know that he loved his family  He did his best.  Please, do not ignore your loved ones.  Life is too short for that!

Have you ever composed a song and known from the start that it was something deep from the heart that only our Heavenly Father could have put there?  That is what happened with  one of the songs to be on our next album.  When my wife and I gave a concert this afternoon, I realized how the words of that song impacted those who heard.  It was a message meant just for them. Sin has a way of cracking the loveliness of life, but when we realize that our Heavenly Father cares, the scars on our heart begin to disappear.  The longer I live, the more I realize that we need something more than what this world offers... I can't wait to share our new album this fall.  I hope that you will find an answer to your needs.

A comment by a recent listener to "Away from Rush Hour" was heart-warming!  Please read the following:

Musically, we are up to good things.  As we slow down and take account of our lives, it seems to draw out those good ole' creative juices.  Sometimes that juice is thick with joy.  Sometimes, it flows with a tenacious melancholy, and yet other times, it is a juice full of a special brand of exuberance.  Stay tuned for one of those moods...!
